Mount St. Louis Moonstone Day Trip is Perfect for your Coach Bus Travels

Founded in 1964 by Austrian Alpine skier Josl Huter, Mount St. Louis Moonstone is one of the largest family owned ski resorts in Ontario.
Mount St. Louis Moonstone is just north of Barrie, Ontario, and is a two-hour bus ride from Toronto. The resort boasts the largest beginner ski area in Ontario, as well as over 40 runs and twelve lifts, of which are three high-speed express lifts, for the intermediate and experts.
The resort has made numerous changes over the past five decades with improvements on snowmaking and automation, increasing Night Lighting on Saint, Promenade and Venture trails, 3 new Pisten Bully groomers complete with SnowSat GPS, which accurately measures snow depth on trails and a re-grading expansion of Moonstone Novice Slope and relocation of Novice Carpet in 2017 alone.
In addition to the slopes, Mount St. Louis Moonstone hosts a multitude of events for ski and snowboard enthusiasts. K2 Demo allows you to test out their new gear; the Sport Chek Air Nation Canada Snowboard Noram presents the Air Nation Freestyle Tour Cup; and the Snowboard Ontario Alpine Provincials and Freestyle Provincials among more.
